Back: Michaella and Stephanie Two Year 9 groups from St Edmund’s School Wahroonga, Sydney, recently visited the NSW Art Gallery to study works by Sol LeWitt and Richard Long. They were so inspired by their visit to the gallery that students from one Year 9 class created an installation in the school quadrangle using stones and flowers, and students from the other Year 9 class used camellia flowers to create a spiral pattern. inspired installation I remember you so old and grumpy that smoker’s cough the way you had that cheeky grin. I still see you on your bed with a rollie in your hand, and your beard stained yellow from the smoke, you looked dead, almost as if your time was up, but I knew you could fight it, you were my fighter.
